Zappa is one of most important influences I have in the way I conceive music. And Hot Rats was the first Album I bought from his immense catalogue. The second recording that Zappa made aside the Mothers of Invention band and with the incredible keyboardist and woodreeder Ian Underwood as his partner.
This song has so many tone changes so many 16th notes played at unison that when the release of a glorious fanfare and then some more solos. It is a pleasure to listen, a madness to play and an interesting composition to analyse.
Here is the embed of the song with the original band.

And an embed of the Tribute band Zappa plays Zappa, with guitarist Steve Vai.
