Way of the Mantis (2006).

This movie, created by Joseph Daniels and Jedidiah Mitchell in 2006 as their thesis. I found it very pleasant and if you read the evolution of the short in their blog, it could be insightful. A great opportunity to learn about animation production.

 Here is our thesis animation completed at RIT.
It is the story of an impetuous Chinese monk who finds he has a thing or two to learn from an unlikely source. The animation is rendered in a brushpainted style reminiscient of old Te Wei films. Enjoy!
