La moda de hacer concierto desenchufados también le llegó a Kiss. Iba a ser un disco más hasta que al final nos encontramos con dos artistas invitados importantísimos, Peter Criss y Ace Frehley. Es un disco pobre, con muchos fallos, sobretodo de Simmons, teniendo que empezar de nuevo una canción, pero es el comienzo de la segunda etapa de Kiss con maquillaje. Curiosamente es la única vez que Criss y Frehley actúan en la banda sin maquillaje. Y no lo repitieron.The fashion of unplugged concerts also caught Kiss.
