Ozzy Osbourne, Shot in the Dark.

Ozzy Osbourne, frontman of a glorious decade with Black Sabbath, popular singer in the eighties and celebrity in the nineties, released the Ultimate Sin in 1986. It was one of his best sellers (reaching double platinum).

It is a glam rock album with many metal riffs, thanks to ex-Ratt guitarist Jack E. Lee. Phil Soussan, the bassist wrote Shot in the Dark, the Hit Single. The band was completed with the late Randy Castillo.

This recording has a lot of legal problems, being one of the most difficult to find, as it had dropped out of the Ozzy Catalog. It seems to have lyrics written by Bob Daisley and Soussan’s legal issues over Shot in the Dark.

My nostalgic stuff comes as buying this album (LP version), a gift from my Grandparent, for about 6€ and loving it all the time I listen to it. But I didn’t find the CD. Now I know why (“you’ll never know why we rock”).
