Cuando se acabó el contrato de cinco años que ligaba a los Kiss originales tras la reunión, la banda hizo una serie de conciertos para despedirse de los fans. Se dijo en su momento que era el final de Kiss. Afortunadamente no fue así, pero sí que fue el último momento en el que se pudo ver a los primeros Kiss juntos en un escenario.
