While countless terrified individuals instantly dismiss the chaotic data packet as a malicious system glitch or the mad, unstable ramblings of an internet terrorist, a fierce, critical mass of awake souls choose to believe the warning. Throughout the city, dozens of workers and terminal operators quietly abandon their posts, slipping into the dark to join the swelling underground resistance cells that will inevitably bolster Tink's upcoming revolutionary cavalry.

The echo of the transmission is still fading from the terminals when Adrian steps forward, displaying a haunting, unexpected maturity that catches both adults off-guard. The boy points out that simply waking minds inside the system isn't enough to survive the harvesting machines; they must break the cycle at its source. Utilizing a direct, high-capacity data conduit running through the sewer junction, Adrian guides them to initiate an immediate, blind terminal logout sequence. They must leave the relative comfort of the digital world entirely and eject their minds straight into the frozen, grim reality of the physical stasis-pod vaults outside, trusting their freshly planted network traps to hold off the Over-Watcher while their bodies fight to wake up in the real world.
