On August 19th, Amanda and Tink held off a brutal assault squad while Billy overclocked Adrian's hidden architect lineage. The resulting sector-wide EMP glitch completely vaporized the attacking Daemons and permanently stabilized the boy's code before the team escaped down into the tunnels.
Huddled under the flashing neon signs of the arcade safehouse, the team works at a feverish, frantic pace. Billy painstakingly reverse-engineers Adrian’s stabilized source code, mapping out the system's underlying engine parameters to permanently lower the environmental hazards ahead of them. This quiet breakthrough is interrupted as Tink announces a major change of plans; he must depart into the dark sub-sectors to rally a coalition of underground resistance allies for their impending final breakout. Armed with new decryption keys and Tink’s parting blessing, the remaining trio is left to face the next step alone.
Realizing the massive EMP has left the Over-Watcher completely blind to their physical signatures, Amanda, Billy, and Adrian recognize a fleeting window of opportunity. They launch a daring, immediate surprise assault directly into the citadel's auxiliary pipelines rather than waiting for help to arrive. Creeping through the server facility’s echoing cooling ducts, Amanda relies on her intense stealth training to completely bypass the automated defensive drone sweeps. Moving in absolute silence, she guides the group deep into the blind heart of the fortress, putting them in perfect position to catch their ultimate enemy completely off-guard.
