In 1932, Fleisher Studios contacted Segar offering a series of animated shorts based on his character form Timble Theater, Popeye. The first cartoon presents the common Popeye-Olive-Bluto triangle, but it also adds Fleisher most reknown star, Betty Boop. Enjoy.
