The Ruined Tower

Luring a lone goblin guard out with a stone-toss distraction, Niles executed a flawless, silent assassination from the shadows. He suffocated the falling torch instantly under his boot, leaving the subterranean corridor completely dark and clear.
Moving with lightning efficiency to capitalize on their flawless stealth, Niles rapidly strips the dead sentry. He discovers a heavy iron key tucked into the guard's belt alongside a crude leather map of the dungeon floors, while Elanna and Darkblade swiftly drag the body back into the stairwell shadows to conceal their work. Seeking a deeper tactical edge, Thaddeus whispers an incantation and weaves a Minor Illusion, masking their physical movement by projecting an empty, quiet corridor to any eyes looking down the hall. Niles scoops up the guard's discarded leather shield to distort his small profile, and the party pushes hard around the corner without losing a single second.
They breach a ruined subterranean mess hall, completely bypassing the guard post to find three unsuspecting goblins lounging around an iron brazier. Reacting with supernatural haste, Niles unseals the newly identified lavender liquid and drinks the Potion of Elven Swiftness as a bonus action, a surge of adrenaline sharpening his vision. Beside him, Elanna and Darkblade erupt from the illusionary corridor, their blades catching the firelight as they blitz the disoriented outpost before a single alarm can be raised.
The sudden, coordinated ambush is devastatingly brutal. Two of the goblins are cut down in their tracks, collapsing over overturned benches before their hands can even reach their rusted weapons. The final survivor scrambles backward across the flagstones in total panic, his weapon dropped, completely cornered against a massive, locked iron door at the back of the chamber. Shaking with fear, he raises his hands, staring up into the cold steel of the party's vanguard.
• Option C (Magic): Thaddeus casts Minor Illusion. Goblin passive perception failed to pierce the camouflage.
• Option B (Advance): Tactical Room Breach triggered. Niles consumes Potion of Elven Swiftness (+2 AC, Advantage on Reflexes).
• Initiative Check: Party rolls 17 + 5 modifier = 22 vs. Goblins 11. Complete Surprise Round victory.
• Combat Resolution: Goblin 1 & 2 slain instantly by Elanna and Darkblade. Goblin 3 surrendered/cornered.
