He then sprinted to an auxiliary fail-safe station, successfully dropping the lethal defense lasers just as Amanda Grey and Adrian reached the Architect's inner sanctum.

SESSION 20 // THE ANCIENT CORE DRIVE

Deep within the reinforced safety of the sealed sanctum, Adrian immediately identifies a massive, softly pulsing crystalline memory matrix nested beneath the Architect's central stasis capsule. Realizing this grand Core Drive contains the uncorrupted history and collective memory of the entire ancient civilization that preceded humanity, the boy springs into action alongside Amanda Grey. Leveraging his intense biological resonance, Adrian deftly manipulates the locking mechanisms, cleanly releasing the glowing data matrix from its ancient security clamps so they can transport it back to Billy's data link.

Down the metallic corridor, Billy Blue faces a terrifying reckoning of his own as the blinded facility systems violently snap back online. Heavy mechanical breaching rams slam into the reinforced security doors of his manual backup deck, threatening to compromise his link. Executing a desperate defensive holding action, Billy rigs a high-voltage feedback loop through the door handles and deploys his final three functional perimeter drones to ambush the breaching squads in the resulting smoke. The tactical trap holds, successfully sealing his position and buying his companions a few more precious days before their absolute August 31st systemic power deadline while Amanda turns her full attention to the thawing glass shield of the Architect.
