As the first rays of dawn pierce the horizon on September 30th, the party unites their remaining strength to finalize the destruction of the Black Crag cult. While Thaddeus expertly channels the powerful inversion scrolls to collapse the rift, his companions work in perfect harmony, channeling their remaining vigor into sanctifying the ancient monoliths with holy water and reclaiming the ritual’s volatile, lingering energy to seal the site forever. The strain of the final ritual is immense, requiring a desperate group Constitution check; they pass with a collective roll of 19, allowing them to withstand the violent, crackling arcane backlash that ripples across the crag.
The resulting explosion of light tears the dark portal away from reality, leaving the monoliths glowing with a soft, protective hum. As the cult's influence is purged and their dark ambitions shattered into dust, the four companions stand exhausted but triumphant amidst the absolute silence of the now-peaceful wilderness. They have not only saved the region from an encroaching shadow, but they have secured their names in legend as the true, eternal guardians of the borderlands. The journey that began in the depths of a ruined tower ends here, under a new, sunlit day of peace.
