The boundaries of reality are dissolving completely. What started as a lingering sense of unease has now manifested into a terrifying psychological convergence between my world in the present and my father's desperate struggle thirty years ago. The woods around Oakhaven seem to hold their breath, pressing in against the town limits as if waiting for something to wake.

Earlier today, while retracing my steps near the town hall, I noticed a silent, cloaked figure standing motionless across the street—a shadowy watcher tracking my every movement before vanishing around the corner. But that waking dread was nothing compared to what found me the moment I fell asleep.

A profound, suffocating psychological paralysis has settled over the mill tonight. The dark woods surrounding the property have swallowed every sound, leaving an unnatural, dead silence that presses hard against my eardrums. When I finally closed my eyes out of pure exhaustion, I plummeted straight into a waking nightmare—a towering entity made of twisting branches and shifting shadow standing right at the freezing river's edge. I know you saw it too, Victoria. The tether is pulling our minds together into the dark.

Reading his words upon waking left me shaking beneath the blankets. We are dreaming the exact same horror, bound together across the decades by an entity that is growing stronger with every passing night.
