Session 7: Co-Pilot Chaos
The acidic green ooze sizzled on the glass, turning the road ahead into a complete blur. Danny panicked, instinctively reaching for the brakes, but Sally overrode his fear. If they stopped now, that thing would tear right through the back doors.
“Keep your feet on the pedals, Danny! I've got the wheel!” Sally shouted. Leaning heavily across the center console, she unbuckled her seatbelt, rolled down the passenger window, and stuck her head completely out into the rushing night air. With her left hand, she gripped the top of the steering wheel, squinting through the wind to track the massive iron struts of the 16th Street Bridge looming dead ahead.
Target: Sally's Skill (SK) is 13. She needs to thread the needle onto the bridge from the passenger seat.
The Dice: [2] + [6] + [1] = 9
Modifiers: Sally applies her Quick Reflexes (Lv1) talent to maneuver the swerving van, letting her subtract 1 from the total.

Sally wrenched the wheel hard to the left, executing a beautiful, sweeping curve that sent the bakery van rocketing straight onto the wooden deck of the historic bridge. The tires thudded rythmically over the planks. Behind them, the pursuing Reptoid missed a step as the van veered, its claws skidding uselessly on the concrete bridge approach before it scrambled to resume the chase.
“I see the warehouse! Straight ahead, past the bridge!” Sally screamed over the rushing wind, her eyes catching the dim incandescent glow of an old brick building on the North Side. Standing right in the open bay door was a beat-up pickup truck with its headlights blazing, and a short, stocky man clad in a vintage flak jacket waving a heavy maglite flashlight.
Uncle Morty was waiting. But as the van roared off the bridge deck and approached the warehouse entrance, the blinded Reptoid let out a final, desperate leap, throwing its entire 7-foot frame onto the roof of the moving vehicle with a metallic *THUD* that dented the ceiling right over their heads!
