Rainbow, I Surrender (1981).

The band of Blackmore when he was not part of Deep Purple was this fresh seventies-eighties rock group. In fact, this was the time I discovered his playing and his music.

My first album was Rainbow Rising, with Hard Rock God, Ronnie James Dio, but I really get hooked with this more comercial album, Difficult to Cure and with Joe Lynn Turner as the lead singer.

Although the sound of this album is so cool and fresh, it is an 1981 recording. I think Rainbow were ahead of their time.
