Could a movie that is not one of the best Superman movies be one of my favourite movies? You bet! This is Christopher Reeve plus Richard Pryor! What could go wrong?
Well, in fact, many things, but the story is fun and has many new ingredients that I really like. Computer genius turns an almost invulnerable machine against Supes. Superman fights Clark Kent, and Kent wins! And in fact, nobody is really a bad guy.

Perhaps it has to be with the Soundtrack. I bought the tape and enjoyed the music and it was one of the first Superman movies that was broadcast on TV, so I videotaped and watched over and over. From the beginning with superman rescuing a driver from being drowned to the amazing transformation of Vera Webster into the ultimate Terminator.
But Pryor is my hero. I loved his character (could you forget the name "Gus Gorman" after seeing this movie?), a poor fellow that steals some money from a company and goes with a new car bought with that money in front of his boss. Who else could have designed a super-computer and used for blue prints pub napkins?
Enjoy the trailer, it is really good.

Superman III ( Trailer ) 1983
Superman III is a 1983 movie that was the third of four movies based upon the long-running DC Comics superhero produced between 1978-1987.
Christopher Reeve, Jackie Cooper, Marc McClure, and Margot Kidder are joined by new cast members Annette O'Toole, Annie Ross, Pamela Stephenson, Robert Vaughn, and Richard Pryor. The film was the last Reeve/Superman film produced by Alexander Salkind and Ilya Salkind. It was followed by Supergirl in 1984 and the non-Salkind sequel Superman IV: The Quest for Peace in 1987.
The film was less successful than the first two Superman movies, both financially and critically. Many fans of the series complained that there was too much emphasis on comedy, the villains were too weak, and that Christopher Reeve essentially played second fiddle to Richard Pryor. Following the release of this movie Pryor signed a deal with Columbia Pictures worth $40,000,000.

Y me gusta mucho hacerlo.
