Es curioso ver cómo los anuncios publicados en la prensa servían para montar bandas de rock en los sesenta y setenta. A los Kiss les pasó.
Cuando Wicked Lester iba a la deriva, Gene Simmons y Paul Stanley leyeron un anucio de Peter Criss en el que se ofrecía como batería y en la que decía que estaba dispuesto a todo. Ahí empezó el maquillaje.
La segunda parte de la relación de la banda con los anuncios por palabras fue cuando el trío puso uno en The Village Voice, solicitando guitarristas. El ganador de la audición fue Ace Frehley.
No he encontrado dichos anuncios buscando por la red. Si alguien los tiene, me encantaría leerlos y ofrecerlos en una entrada.
