Another surprise from the animation world. Here is the adaptation of a book by Roald Dahl about a Fox and his family. They live low until Mr. Fox couldn't resist his instincts and steal a chicken.
Then the nightmare stars. The farmers, as rich as they could imagine, begins hunting down the fox and his family.

They are close to starvation when the Badger helps them. Mr. Fox feels responsible for the whole situation and compensates his friends and helpers with the creation of an underworld town for all of them, feed with the food provided by the farm. And the Farmers, so fanatic, always guard the fox-hole, where no animal never would come out.
This is a movie by Wes Anderson, with very special guest voices: George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Jason Schwartzman adn non other than BILL MURRAY (hurray!!). Wanna hear more? Wally Wolodarsky, Eric Anderson, Michael Gambon, Willem Dafoe, Owen Wilson, Jarvis Cocker, Robin Hurlstone and Hugo Guinnerss. Not bad, eh?
And the animation is really interesting. It is a mixture of stop-motion plus Computer animation. The basis is always the puppets, but they move in a not so smooth movement that first is difficult but after a few moments is a real delight. I'll explain myself.
The movement is so perfect and natural but not fake. You are seeing puppets and they turn to live the way it should be. It is a rare example of how this feeling of seeing the strings makes me feel really comfortable and enjoy every minute of the film.
I highly recommend this film.
