The Dark Destroyer tells his story. He escaped from the total annihilation in the blink of time by sending an spore to the space. He travelled looking for Lydia Perez, Martin’s wife. He ate her life force and them passed through Martin to copy him.
A mammal from another planet gave birth to him and he grew up to perform his vengeance.
Martin is angry and fights back. A melee is formed. Everybody fights everybody.
Dart must choose and wounds Blackjak. Atari Force fought so well that put their enemies to run away. The Dark Destroyer is wounded.
The Dark Destroyer comes into Kargg’s mind and gives him the order to kill Martin Champion while he sets the bomb on.
A universe desapears.

A short story, again with Hukka as the main character. On this occasion, Hukka finds a Critter-stuffed Bunnies-Tribbles-like creatures.
Not bad for a funny adventure. But an annoyance in Atari Force.
First another announcement. Gerry Conway will leave AF. Next writer, Mike Baron. Not bad, none at all. Only a letter, from Sheila Stone (Arcata, CA). She makes public her crush on Blackjak. Now we now that he is no Role Model at all.

The new writer starts the series in a dire situation. To me, this part is quite stranded. The story doesn’t go forward nor backward. So enjoy this time and wait for the resolution in next issues. And this part is alien and strange.
Martin blames himself because he run away instead of facing the Dark Destroyer to death. They are travelling in a Multiverse that has being thorn apart and they must go on until they can come out.
Martin has found a signal, a pattern that may alter life itself, whatever it means. Pakrat wonders along the ship and finds Kargg. This will be Pakrat’s issue. Taz is tied and wounded. And boy, he runs like Hell.
On the bridge, the other members of the crew consider their options. Then Taz, that has freed himself tells that the monster is aboard. Pakrat has found a refuge in an escape pod and must launch it, because Kragg is following him. He lands in a desolated world and Kragg is with him. There is nothing Pakrat could do.
But then, Rident takes down Kragg (no killing here). He has followed them and is the new member of the Atari Force.

A story of Babe on his home planet. We can see the adult eggites converted into mountains. Babe watch a starship combat. Both ships lands and from one you can see a large group of aliens. The other ship has only a passenger. A humanoid.
The large horde attacks Babe and Babe plays with them. The tinny fighters run in pain and the humanoid returns our hero back to his mother.
Chris Carswell (New Bern, NC) praises the series. Joe Walker (Peoria, IL) misses the voice of Scanner One. J.I. Donoghue (Iowa City, IA) found a cliché in making Blackjak a bad guy. And he also found the similitude between Micronauts and Atari Force. Dave Kapple (Dallas, OR) misses Rident (not for long, I think) and wonders if Scanner One will be able to get back home.
Dwight Deur (Maquetta, MI) is concerned with Blackjak return and Jaynie Marie Fisher (Lonoke, Arkansas) loves AF as much as Legion.

With a new member in Scanner One, they find another threat. The planet is inhabited by big scarabs that react like ants. They are attacked and run away. They can’t take off, because the Scanner One is being eaten. Literally.
Morphea talks with Blackjak in the cells where he is arrested with Kragg.
She reads his mind and finds that an alien personality lies dormant within them. Taz is recovering from his wounds.
Babe is the only one that can go outside unharmed. So he goes and tries to clean the thrust plate that would release them from this planet.

This fill in story is a great way to find Ferra, the great pain in the back of Pakrat. It is a two part story.
Pakrat wants to steal something from the Turok’s embassy and Ferra will help him, but after making fun of our fur friend.
The letter page start with a bio from Mike Baron. Matt McCullar (Fort Worth, TX) thinks that the moment an eggite comes of age, they must suffer from being immobilized for the rest of their lives. That was a thought that came into my mind the first time I read the series.
T.M Maple makes a lengthy analysis of Blackjak. James Richardson (London, England) states that he has being collecting DC because AF was cool. Jesse Tauriac (S. Easton, MA) wants information about Dart and Helfer promises that in next chapers he will read about her origin. Michael Krupp (Prescott, MI) asks about Taz solo story.
