Def Leppard, Animal (1987).

After the success of Pyromania in 1983, Def Leppard had to create something new, something amazing that could turn outside-down the world of Rock. Michael Jackson had done it for the Pop and dance world. Now a band had to do it for Rock. And Def Leppard had an idea.

But many things happened and an car accident cost an arm to their drummer, Rick Allen. But after some time to recover, the band reunited and used the work at studio as their way to transform their classic New Wave of British Heavy Metal into the new 80s Rock.

And Hysteria took the World with a collosal LP that is the longest in Rock History. Seven singles and 20 million albums sold. Not bad, don't you think? But tragedy was to be part of Def Leppard's History. 

Next album, Adrenalize, was done after Steve Clark was found dead. The band rised again and charted number one again. They are real fighters.
