Tengo que reconocerlo, ¡me puede esa portada tan bonita! Tan comiquera y tan chorra en cuanto al humor. No es el disco en el que se quitaron el maquillaje, como podría pensarse por el título del mismo, pero sí fue el final del la formación original. Peter Criss salió del grupo este año, sin haber tocado ni una sola nota en Unmasked (fue un batería de sesión, Anton Fig el que tocó las partes de percusión).

Las canciones de este disco no han pasado a la Kisstoria, aunque hay muchas joyas por descubrir. A parte de Shandi, que según leo se toca en los conciertos australianos, hay maravillas como What Makes the World Go Round, Easy At It Seems o Naked City. 

Con discos como este, uno echa de menos los LPs, con esas portadas tan grandotas. Tenía una fotocopia del disco original que tengo pegada en mi habitación cuando era chaval.

I have to admit that this cover is so pretty and I get hooked with the LP solely by seeing it! So goofy, so comicbook and so humorous. It is not the LP where they removed their makeup, as you might think after reading the title, but it was the end of the original lineup. Peter Criss left the group this year without having played a single note in Unmasked (it was a session drummer Anton Fig who played the percussion parts).

The songs on this album have not gone to Kisstory, although there are many gems to discover. Shandi, of course. I read that as the concerts played in Australia, but there are wonders like What Makes the World Go Round, Easy At It Seems or Naked City. With records like this, I miss the LPs, so big and with these covers. I had xeroxed the original cover and stuck it in my room when I was a kid.
