On November 4th, Trike descended into the Fissure of Shadows and confronted a terrifying Zombified T-Rex blocking her path.
Post #5: Claws of the Undead Titan
November 5th - Refusing to yield, Trike channels her raw grit into a ferocious counter-attack, swinging her heavy club directly at the decaying jaw of the Zombified T-Rex, while preparing to use sheer brute force to shove past the titan if her strike falters. The subterranean cavern echoes with the deafening clash of bone and stone as the titanic struggle reaches its boiling point!
Dino Combat: Zombified T-Rex (Round 2)
Attack Phase: Trike swings with all her might. Attack Roll: 🎲 [3] (Failure). The heavy blow glances off the beast's thick, necrotic hide.
Defend Phase: The Zombified T-Rex lashes back with crushing dark force. Attack Roll: 🎲 [5]. Trike attempts to block, but the blow pierces her defenses. Because her natural Trike Armor already absorbed the first wound of this combat sequence, this incoming blow inflicts 1 true Wound!
Wound / Second Wind Check: Trike takes a Wound, dropping to 2/3 Hearts. She presses on through the pain, determined not to fall prey to the undead monster.
Despite taking a heavy hit, Trike leverages her brute strength, diving past the snapping jaws of the undead titan into the deeper recesses of the cavern. To her astonishment, locked away inside a crude bone cell behind the beast is a massive male Rex warrior who introduces himself simply as REX!
